A Pair Of French 19th Century Neo-Classical St. Patinated Bronze, Ormolu And Noir De Sablé Marble Candelabras

An extremely elegant and high quality pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated Bronze, Ormolu and Noir de Sablé marble candelabras. Each two arm candelabra is raised by a triangular Noir de Sablé marble base with cut corners and a fine stepped design. The Noir de Sablé marble pedestals display the same design with lovely pierced Ormolu mounts of a decorative amphora amidst fine foliate movements. Above are two elegant patinated Bronze maidens draped in finely executed period attire. Each maiden is holding up and blowing two trumpets with scrolled design and spout shaped Ormolu candle cups with finely chased masks.
